Downtown Winter Park, Florida
We're in a charming, two-story historic building in downtown Winter Park, just steps from Park Avenue.
I've recently retired as founder and CEO of a sizable residential renovation company. I'm now looking for a bright, resourceful, and self-motivated individual to help manage a portfolio of eight office tenants and 15 residential rental properties, including single-family homes and condominiums. The position will also involve a variety of administrative and business-related responsibilities.
Throughout my career, I've had considerable success in mentoring employees, encouraging professional development, and providing opportunities for growth.
The ideal candidate is sharp, humble, intellectually curious, organized, and a natural problem-solver. You should be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and figuring things out without constant supervision.
You'll work in a pleasant, professional office environment with other businesses on the same floor, although much of your work will be independent. We'll interact periodically on business matters where you will learn about the industry developing a deep understanding of real estate, property management, and business operations.
Above all, I'm looking for a self-starter with a quick mind, sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and genuine intellectual curiosity.
A college degree is preferred but not required. I'm more interested in your character, capabilities, and potential than an extensive résumé.
