Position Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our embedded care team at a leading inpatient medical rehabilitation facilities in Florida. This role is ideal for a psychologist who wants hands-on medical experience, a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and an opportunity to provide behavioral healthcare leadership and psychological expertise within a medical unit that values integrated, team-based care.
You’ll be embedded within a collaborative interdisciplinary team and supported by seasoned clinicians who prioritize evidence-based care, learning, and long-term development .
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions for medically complex adult populations
Conduct brief psychological assessments and support treatment planning
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
Participate in rounds and case conferences to align on patient care
Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with clinical and billing standards
Engage in ongoing peer consultation and performance feedback
Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Health Psychology from an APA accredited program
Licensed (or license-eligible)in the state of Florida
Experience or strong interest in medical psychology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to continuous learning and team collaboration
