Job Summary :
Client is seeking a Field Service Technician to support operations at the Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) paper mill in International Falls, MN .

This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined, safety-focused professional with experience in a manufacturing or paper mill environment. The technician will work closely with the site team to support operations, troubleshoot issues, communicate with customers and team members, and perform basic laboratory-related activities.

Candidates must live within approximately 45 minutes of the PCA paper mill in International Falls, MN.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support daily operations at the PCA paper mill.
• Provide technical and field service support at the customer site.
• Apply strong mechanical aptitude to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Troubleshoot problems and develop practical solutions.
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
• Maintain strong communication with customers, site personnel, and internal teams.
• Perform basic laboratory work after receiving appropriate training.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Respond to occasional on-call requirements during nights and weekends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel will be minimal, with the PCA International Falls facility serving as the primary work location.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
• Ability and willingness to learn basic laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends as part of an on-call rotation.
• Must live within approximately 45 minutes of International Falls, MN .

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working in a paper mill or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, field service, industrial operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or process-related issues.
• Previous experience working directly at a customer or industrial site.
